Service demand modelling

Having worked in the health and human services sector for over 30 years, our practice leader is an expert in modelling health and human services needs across both the public and private sectors and utilising this information to structure service provision, advise on capital requirements, and develop funding strategies to meet the need. Demand modelling is a key tool for public and private sector organisations when making decisions about allocating resources. It provides an evidence-based approach to understanding the needs of populations and ensuring resposive service provision. This is especially true for health services and human services, where the demand for specific services can fluctuate. Demand modelling can be used as a basis for developing robust funding models to ensure these services are adequately supported and resourced. Demand modelling also helps to identify any existing or potential gaps in service provision, or human resource allocation, allowing for strategies to be put in place to ensure that all populations are receiving the services they need.
